I meet this really cool chick Emma who has a ethical fashion company. You can check out her website – www.emroce.com. She is super passionate about ethical based clothing choices. So I was pumped to do some photos for her. We had an awesome day and after the main shoot we hung out and I was able to get some cool shots of her one of her besties. The cloths in the top half of the shoot are zero waste, multi-sized summer dresses made of sheets from the 60s and 70s.

I love photographing a couple madly in love! and I love photographing a couple madly in love in an awesome location. It was so cool to be a part of Ash and Annie’s wedding. Spending a whole wedding day with a couple who are madly in love is really special, you get to see so much raw emotion. Ash and Annie’s wedding was a beautiful gathering of amazing people, celebrating a really really in love couple’s deep commitment to each other. Such an epic day with epic people!

Rain Rain go away……After a week long session of hectic rain i was getting a little nervous with my quickly approaching wedding, which i had planed to shoot primarily out side in the majestic hunter valley gardens, Thankfully we couldn’t of asked for a better day, Amazing lighting, love in the air, tears in mums eyes.

I can’t believe how blessed i am, to be able to photograph such amazingly in love couples, all the best on your new life together, have an amazing time in Africa…..Enjoy

Joel & Richelle – Couple Portrait Session

So it has been close to 8 months since we left Newcastle and when I came back I felt like I was able to see Newcastle with fresh eyes. Driving around I saw so many new cool spots that I wanted to go take photos at. So with Joel and Richelle being one of my last portrait session in Newcastle for a while I was keen to get around to some of these spots. It was a great time! we jumped fences, squashed through walls and ventured down back ally’s to get some cool shots.

About 7 years ago I photographed this families portraits (back in the days of film) so I was super pumped when I had an email from them asking me to come around and do some more family portraits for them.

It was also so cool to rock up at their house and see the canvas’s still on their wall from the photo shoot 7 years ago.

It was great to see how the family has grown, great to hang out and great to get some cool photos. One of the perks of being a photographer!

This wedding for was epic for me. I love being a part of pretty much every wedding I photograph and with these guys I didn’t want this one to end! I had sooo much fun and not only were the couple awesome to photograph but their family and guests were awesome to photograph too.

Being apart of someone’s wedding is like being invited to their house for dinner. Its always a good time and you come away knowing the people so much better. After this wedding I not only enjoyed hanging out and getting to know the couple more but I also felt like I got to know their families and some of their close friends too.

My cousin-in-law came around for some head shots for his work. We took some standard shots for him and then I was able to play around a bit and we got this shot, simple but I love it.
